David Kaminow is a successful bankruptcy attorney and seasoned litigator. He was recognized by the American Registry as one of the Top 10% of America’s Most Honored Professionals in 2017, and advanced to the Top 5% in 2018. He has also been nationally ranked in the field of bankruptcy law by the National Academy for Bankruptcy Attorneys and is consistently a Martindale-Hubbell distinguished attorney. He is also one of the top lawyers recognized by the Legal Network.
Within the bankruptcy arena, Mr. Kaminow has practiced law on behalf of corporations and individuals for over 20 years. He has successfully confirmed Plans under Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 of the United States Bankruptcy Code and has astutely represented businesses and individuals throughout the process of reorganization. Mr. Kaminow has also represented creditors seeking to enforce their rights through the bankruptcy courts.
In litigation, Mr. Kaminow began his career with the prestigious firm of Shadoan and Michael, LLP, and has been personally involved in over 500 cases in State and Federal Courts in Maryland, and in the District of Columbia Superior Court. He was lead counsel in Parker v. U.S. Trust, a decision in which D.C.’s highest court clarified and confirmed certain issues with respect to how property can be titled to married couples. Mr. Kaminow is also a frequent lecturer for NBI, teaching classes to other attorneys in various aspects of trial advocacy.
Mr. Kaminow earned his law degree from the George Washington University and his B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College, where he was a Top 10% graduate. He joined our firm in 2018 on an Of Counsel basis, where his practice areas include litigation and bankruptcy
